HOW DID YOU ALL MEET?

We met on the London freelance circuit and have been friends and colleagues for several years in numerous different ensembles. The Jukebox Quartet was formed when the four of us decided that we wanted to do things differently and form a truly versatile ensemble of the highest quality.

 

 

WHERE DOES YOUR NAME COME FROM?

We wanted a name that really told people what this group is all about - delivering fun, high quality musical entertainment in just about any style.

 

 

HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE TO PLAY FOR AN EVENT?

We are not comfortable with publishing our fees on the website as there are so many factors that affect what we charge for any given event, from distance to duration and even bespoke arrangements. If you're interested in booking us, get in touch for a no-obligation quote.

 

 

WILL YOU PLAY FOR FREE?

No, we are all professionals and we need to be paid for our work.

 

 

HELP - I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT CLASSICAL MUSIC!

You've come to the right place! It's our job to know all about music, and your job just to enjoy it. Relax, tell us all about your event and what you want to hear, and leave the rest up to us.

 

 

CAN YOU PLAY THIS SPECIAL SONG FOR US?

Absolutely - in fact, it's quite likely that it's in our repertoire already. Bespoke arrangements do incur an additional fee, but whatever the song is, we can make it happen.

 

 

WHAT FACILITIES DO YOU REQUIRE?

Nothing outlandish. We'll send you a full rider when you book us, but for acoustic events all we need is four chairs and four cups of tea!

 

 

WHAT HAPPENS IF ONE OF YOU IS UNAVAILABLE FOR THE GIG?

We're glad you asked that! Occasionally one of us may be unavailable due to illness or prior commitments. When this happens, our member will be replaced by one of our associate artists. The Jukebox Quartet is unique in that we never, ever offer gigs to anybody we don't know. All of the musicians we book are people we know and work with regularly. All of our associate artists know our repertoire and play just as well as we do, so you can be assured of the highest quality.

 

 

DO YOU TRAVEL?

Yes we do! We've all played on every continent except Antarctica. Please note that all travel costs must be met by our clients in addition to our fees. We'd love to go to Antarctica but it might be a bit pricey to get us there...

You'd be amazed how often we get asked this, and the answer is no! You'll find us very down to earth and easy to deal with.
